so today was the first day of the first week of my last semester of college. all in all, i'd say it was a pretty good day. i'm really happy to be in thai class again (though we are down from six students to four--b. and p., godspeed and good luck!) and the time went by surprisingly quickly! i came out of it with four or five pages of vocab notes and a little bit of cognitive overload, but i wouldn't have it any other way!

then i had a break, so i went to the stevens annex to waste some time on the internet. a fellow english major was also in the lab, so we spent some time talking via good ol' facebook chat. british poetry since 1900 started at 3:30, and i think it's going to be an interesting class. i've never had a class with this professor, but he seems to be a likable guy. i'm also really interested in reading more british poetry (anything poetry is good in my book! i'm in the minority, as far as that goes; we took a vote, per my professor's query, and nearly 3/4ths of my classmates voted in favor of fiction and novels over poetry... not really surprised by this). anyway, i suppose we'll see how it goes, but it's definitely looking promising.

tomorrow... two more classes. and work! hooray!
