I.
we breathe in: the
october lake michigan
air wraps itself around
us (autumn in the
city.) i will never forget
the twinkle of lights, the
rumble of trains, passing
over our heads... drawn
together (as if by magnetic
force), we kissed beneath
that familiar midwest
twilight (and i knew then
that i was home.)
II.
today is the textbook definition
of a perfect autumn day.
62°F and sunny.
(just right for sitting out on
the porch & reading, if i do
say so myself.)
