this is how i long
to spend my days.
sunny spring afternoons
laughing on the porch,
forgoing coats for the
first time in months.

and these sunsets,
that fiery glow fading
into pale pinks and
blues: delicate blooming
petals, subtle greens--
those crisp march breezes.
